Il Prof. Oren Yiftachel il prossimo 14 febbraio terrà una conferenza pubblica allo Iuav – Università di Venezia dal titolo “Gray Spacing and Contemporary Urbanism: a South-Eastern perspective“. Si tratta di un’ occasione di incontro con uno dei più importanti studiosi contemporanei dell’ordinamento spaziale e dell’uso della disciplina urbanistica come strumento di oppressione. Gray Spacing and Contemporary Urbanism: a South-Eastern perspective
The lecture will analyze the rapid expansion of ‘gray space’ as a structural feature of contemporary urbanism. It will focus on the tensions between the facilitation of liberal urban citizenship and the persistent oppression of minorities, women and the poor.
